Our Founder - Robert Newland

As a serial entrepreneur, Robert has extensive experience in building and managing his own companies, including business and professional services firms, executive suites facilities and call center operations.

He founded Newland Associates in 1991, serving clients like J&J, Sony, Fluor Daniel, and Citibank, as well as smaller regional businesses.  In 2004, Robert expanded the scope of his firm, becoming a part of Career Partners International (CPI), where he has served as member of the Board of Directors and Vice President Latin American Division.  He also spends time as a Partner in Blue Spring Partners, a boutique M&A advisory, investment and operations firm that works with lower middle market companies.

He graduated Cum Laude with a degree in Management from the Sacred Heart University, where he was awarded the Portico Medal for his leadership skills.   He continued his education through executive education programs including Harvard Business School. He was also recognized with the Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award by the Puerto Rico Chamber of Commerce. 

Many of his consulting engagements have been in Leadership and Organization Development, Human Resources, Recruitment, Career Transition and Training.  He has experience in Strategic Management, Business Planning, Forecasting, Human Resources, Financial Analysis and Funding.  Some of the spaces he has worked in include banking, wholesale and retail, pharmaceutical and electronic manufacturing, hospitality, construction, and government.
