The PowerMyCareer™ system also includes access to these incredible tools to help individuals attain high-quality job offers faster. There is no course limit and are available until you are re-employed.
Interactive virtual workshops provide you with the knowledge and skills needed to implement a job search campaign. The workshops offer training for interviewing, networking, and crafting a resume based on your career accomplishments.
The workshops are held virtually with local coaches who offer specific insight on the local job market. The workshops are focused on giving you the knowledge and skills needed for a successful job search. You will make your workshop selections below. After you register, we will communicate with you about the availability and the scheduling of your two preferred workshops. Again, there is no fee to attend the workshops.
This workshop includes: Identification of career accomplishments, Resume development – functional and chronological formats, and Writing effective job search campaign letters, such as: targeted, cover, broadcast, and follow-up letters
This workshop provides: Stress management (including communicating with spouse, significant others and children), Exit statement, Career evaluation – determination of future options and direction, and Basic financial planning, including budget preparation, applying for unemployment insurance and tax-deductible expenses
In this workshop, learn: Networking effectively including optimizing your social media presence for your personal brand, How to get the most out of using LinkedIn, Penetrating the job market including agencies and recruiters, advertisements, the Internet, professional associations, etc.
